My fan-evolution chart for the newly revealed generation 6 Water-Starter Pokemon, Froakie.
the made up names for the first and second evolution are:
Frolegant (Frog-Elegant) mainly because his appearance is based off of elegant butlers and well-mannered people.
and Pompoad (Pompous-Toad) because his appearance is based on that of pompous royalty.

I hope you're aware this was made the same day Froakie, Fennekin, and Chespin were revealed. We had virtually no idea what direction these starters would have been taken, and I take pride in the fact that all of my designs are so drastically different from the official evolutions- It stands testament to how well designed those base designs are so that they may serve as a blank canvas for what thematic direction they can be taken, in my case, considering all we knew at the time was that Kalos was based in Europe/France, I took them in a regal direction.
But I don't expect you to understand that. Criticism from an amateur like yourself who draws nothing but childish ponies and unicorns is laughably ironic. Like a deaf man telling someone they're not listening correctly.

Although the official ninja design is pretty rad, your designs are freakin' stellar. I adore the royalty look and the names. The spats and cuffs are a very nice touch, but I think I like Pompoad's disoriented stare the most.

yeah lol. at the time I saw his bubbles/cloak thingy as more of a garment, and the bubbles on his face as a little moustache, so I took it in a COMPLETELY different route, a more royal theme. Good to compare to the official evolutions almost a year later

That's the same with me. When I first saw Froakie I figured he would've evolved into some kind of elegant pokemon with a "bow before me peasant" demeanor like Serperior.Β
