Gosh, that’s still something I struggle with...
i just try to separate it all into categories
like face shape
like, is it pointy or round or oval or heart-shaped
and how wide/long it is
and I try to maintain a common shape throughout all the features (like, a pointy face, then I’ll do narrow eyes and a pointy nose and pointy ears, etc.)

things that aren’t conventionally attractive in general

Hmm, well, I can see how a lot of your characters have the same face
but, well, it’s kinda hard to do unique faces when you’re working with a chibi style
it has a lot of restrictions
