Cougar and bobcat skulls on a fox squirrel and grey squirrel pelt and with a turkey feather.Skulls from *Zhon , fox squirrel pelt purchased at a colonial convention, grey squirrel pelt purchased at a covered bridge festival, and feather found up in MI

Wow, I knew the cougar was much bigger than the bobcat, but didn't know it was that much!

wow. The size difference is amazing. I've got a lynx skull( from Zhon), but can imagine that the comparison would be similar. I guess I should have been able to tell from the cougar canine tooth I snagged during a practice "necropsy/let the pre-vet students poke around a big dead animal" session. It's very different seeing the whole skulls next to each other though.
