Description
I never understood why in WoW there weren't too many dwarf women out there, except for as banks. I love dwarf fighters/warriors. They always hold the line and their constitutions are awesome. I'm not a fan of bikini chainmail and I think a female dwarf would be a tough lady for a tank! So here is a character I made just for fun: Aldis Stonehearth. She is great at crafting magic items, weapons, and armor. She is a matriarch and grew up in an underground Dwarfish city so she has a pretty thick accent. She forces you to eat your vegetables and such. She is a widow, as her husband had a glorious death in war. Since she's raised a family and has successful children: one is a wealthy trader, another continuing the family gem cutting business, and her daughter starting her own family; she's free to adventure on her own as a career she'd always put on hold, which is also a great way to procure interesting gems and jewelry for the family business.Adventuring Party: [link]

Sounds like the kind of adventurer you want standing at your side facing an orc onslaught! I know my dwarf fighter, Hrolfsten Blackforge, could go for her!

I love the slightly Valkyrie-ish look the helmet wings give, very much in keeping with the Norse mythos dwarves are so permanently bound to.

When it comes to WoW, I point to Night Elves. Not only are you an exotic and generally attractive, alien but you belong to a traditionally matriarchal, militant, nature-loving society of near immortals. Thus putting off the ever popular sexy but-ill-cut-your-face-off-if-you-say-that, solo, warrior maiden vibe. A veritable having your cake and eating it too.
Not that i find anything really wrong with that, but compare that to other options, primarily Gnomes. I don't mean to stereotype females but if you're going off the beaten path, Gnomes seem to appeal more to feminine sensibilities. Since Gnomes are very close to dwarves without all the grit, plus some cute and quirky characteristics. Somewhat related is the humorous sexual dimorphism seen when trying to avoid the dwarf-girl problem in Lineage 2.

Nice work altogether! I really like the Skyrim-ish dwarven shield design. Good backstory too. Keep up the awesome work!
