Damn, I haven't posted any creature profiles in a while! I've been meaning to do a mermaid one for quite some time now... the scanner made her a little pale. >.< A little variation from how I normally do merfolk... I never do them this much human-like, they always turn out like the merfolk in Magic: The Gathering.

I think it's interesting that she, being a fish, uses a hook at the point of a stick as a weapon.
