A humanoid goblinish spider, African trickster god Anansi, the owner of all stories. Every story is an Anansi story, because all stories have that so-familiar trickster figure.

His stories come from Africa, and the African slaves brought them to the West Indies, where they were popularized as featuring Br'er Rabbit instead.

I've been reading Neil Gaiman's "Anansi Boys", which really makes you a part of the story. You can addict to that. Today on drawing class I did a quick sketch of Bucky Katt so I could read it for the rest of the time.
