Description
Hey fellas, I've been a bit dormant on here lately and I figured I'd fix that. I know some of you guys are fellow gun nuts also, so I figured I'd share a shot of a few of my lead throwers. Here's a bit of specs for those that dig them.Remington 700 Police sniper rifle (.308 Winchester) with an 8-32x56 Nightforce scope, scope ring bubble level, Nightforce 20MOA Direct Mount one piece scope mount, Two 3" Nightforce sunshades, Harris bipod with cant adjustment, and an Eagle Industries Cheekpiece.
Rossi single shot rifle chambered in 22-250. It vaporizes fruit nicely.
Remington 870 express with a Choate 10 shot extension tube.
Another 870 express with a wingmaster chrome bolt and loading gate added just for fun.
Two Remington 550-1's, I made a trigger crank on the bottom rifle that mounts with the existing trigger guard screw holes.
Defense technologies 37mm riot control launcher.
WWII era 26.5mm flare pistol.
Smith&Wesson 629 .44 Magnum with a 6" barrel and Hogue rubber grips. I've shimmed out hammer side play and added a reduced power trigger rebound spring to reduce the trigger pull weight.
Colt Gold Cup Trophy 1911: Wilson Combat checkered mainspring housing and magazine well, extended slide stop, Wolf #2 reduced power magazine release spring, Ed Brown stainless Allen head grip screws, Buffer Technologies recoil buffer.

Friend of mine has a 22-250. He loves it! He had a little trouble with it at first. Didn't understand why it blew rabbits apart at 50 yards.
You have an awesome collection.

Hey, thanks! The bullets have an extreme amount of explosive expansion from that cartridge, it's no wonder when the bullets can fly faster than 4,000 feet per second with some loads.

Surprisingly, I found it at a gun show for about $50.

I really can't say which would be considered better, I don't have anything against Winchester, I've just never shot a model 70 before to base an opinion on the matter. Just curious, what aspect of the Remington 700 did you find "stiff"?

How does the Remy 700 shoot with the NSX? I'd like to get the same setup, but I wonder if the NSX deserves a better platform.

I've been right pleased with that rifles accuracy, it shoots sub MOA groups for me right out of the box quite regularly. The tightest 5 shot group I've made with that rifle is 3.625" at 600 yards using Georgia Arms 168gr."Match" Ammunition. Even on my bad days I can usually keep them in a 6"group or less at 600 yards. I've got some reloads I made using 168gr. Sierra MatchKing bullets and fire formed brass I've been trying to find the time to test, I'm expecting noticed improvement over the GA ammo. I've been very happy with the optics clarity of the scope, it's clearer than the Bushnell Discoverer spotting scope (15-60x60mm) I bring along on some shoots. I have it mounted with a 20MOA Nightforce scope mount so it keeps my elevation adjustment range centered, meaning I don't have to max out the elevation turret travel for longer shots. I'm pretty happy with it overall, sure there are more accurate weapon systems out there, but I think this is a great setup for the money. Here's a picture of what the scope looks like on a target at 600 yards, I just threw it together from pictures I've taken in the past, I hope it may be useful to you [link] . If you have any questions feel free to ask man.
