Description
So this pretty much hints big-time at my next Lost Project.I Based him more off of the character's image by suit actor Ryu "Hurricane" and the original description: "Redmoon has a long, King Ghidorah -like neck, as well as big King Ghidorah-like wings, and giant claws.", rather than the stubby looking Goliath creature that wound up in Diagoro vs Goliath. I wanted a monster who would give Godzilla a difficult time. Now on to Erabus....

Maybe you've got the chance to draw Erebus? I'm not entirely sure THAT unused kaiju's got enough recognition as Redmoon has.

Nice work; Redmoon is very clearly his own monster here. That appearance is unique, yet reminiscent of the Goliath suit. Well done!

i did take him apart so i can remake him
i felt like making him look more like the 2000 Godzilla
and also i need to know how tall redmoon is, do you know off the top of your head or?

Though I will always be partial to the Goliath inspired design of Redmoon, this looks good as well. I am surprised you were able to pull that much detail out of the jammed up official art drawing. I love the color though. Damn nice you went with the dark magenta's and lavenders in the underside of his flesh. Really makes the reds pop that much more. Most folks would have defaulted and done yellows or browns. But...yeah that looks really nice. I always wonder what his powers would have been. For some reason I also picture him with fire and the very angelic snow angel like Erabus with ice. That could just be my weird interpenetration though. I don't think Toho would have done that.

I actually like that idea of the fire/ice theme. This was a hard one to hammer out, as you mentioned, we are only given a small, backside shot with some ambiguity thrown in. I looked at several Goliath pictures, and I just couldn't; his threat factor just inst there enough for me. Glad you liked the colors I chose as well. This was one of the times I finished a design very unsure of people's opinions. But it sounds like I made some decent choices! Always appreciate the feedback!

Yyyuuup! And it was used in Water Scenes for Godzilla vs Gigan which it was in horrible shape by then. I really liked Son of Godzilla but that suit was ugly as hell. I think it'd be perfect if the Destroy All Monstes Godzilla design debuted a year before.
