Now..I have this image in my head...and yeah, black and white doesn't bring forth the right image lol. This drawing definitely needs to be colored to get across the "dark fox" idea. The idea sort of spawned from an IRC conversation awhile back, but I never really drew it. Now I did. :3 But...I need to color it...seriously lol. Technically the pencil isn't even done, but I tired of shading the blasted wings and just decided it's done. So here it is, enjoyishish

I just had to stop and favorite this image of yours. I was impressed with how natural and easy you make this fox's position look. His wings frame his body and the way his legs suport the character are so well excecuted. You have a terrific talent that is inspireing. I'm glad you posted on Dev allowing us the chance to see your work.

I love the Subtiltyof colours which draws me into the fox's expression....and the wings they are exsquisitely detailed.

You see colors? O.o Wow. lol. And technically the wings aren't done...I got lazy and just kind of put lines up top XD Wings are so tedious...even though I love them so. Appreciate the fact that you like it though. ^.^

If there's any brown in there, it was allll my scanner's doing. Unless there's blantant color on anything I've drawn, it was most likely drawn only in pencil. ;3
Tedious...for the feathers are monotonous and repetitive, but yes...they are beautiful, which is why I love them so. That and I'm obsessed with being able to fly, not that I can, but it's one of those things. XD
And if you wish to watch me, I have no objections, but I warn you! Don't get your hopes up, my submission rate sucks! XD

Dark was term behind his being, as he controls darkness, not really that he's dark.
