I know..lame title XD Ok....sooo...I wanted to draw Fox with his wings unfurled....because he does in fact have wings...he just has the ability to retract them.
So yeah...his wings are rather...eh big...so I start drawing and realize....if I draw the wings to scale...Fox himself will take up like 2 inches of the paper lol. In the end..he took up 2 and a half inches! 
lol Disregard the odd lines behind and below him..it's not like I was going to draw a background and said screw it or anything >.>;;

It's just a matter of doing all the feathers! And feathers....feathers are fun....and then okay....and then boring....and then monotonous...and then tedious...and THEN MIND MELTING. :F

Yes...Fox was supposed to have massive wings. I think I could have drawn it better honestly lol

Would be better if the wings were a suitable size so that he could close them and walk quietly, but at the same time large enough to impact and in correct proportion to the flight

Well he has the ability to retract said wings into his body anyways. He wasn't born with them. :3

Wow. Excellent detail. Everything is so realistic. Excellent wing length. The only thing I would do differently is make the wings a little thicker. With the exception of him being a fox this is the kind of stuff I want to draw. I clearly have a long way to go.

So you think his wings are rather large? Nope, they're perfect, because when you think about it, birds have wings that are larger than their body too. So yeah, this is almost perfect in my opinion. And yes, that is disregarding the lines behind him.

Yes, but even at this size, I'm fairly sure he still wouldn't be able to fly. Mostly due to the fact the sheer amount of weight his bones and muscle add. XD

Well he is a fox, but it's capitalized because his name is Fox. And he's a character I've got all over my gallery. The yellow and black guy. :3

I do too...to some extent. Feathers get tedious and monotonous after some time. Especially if the wings are huge and detailed. More detailed than huge...but detailed AND huge, just wrong.
