SO, shockingly enough I drew another picture, and it didn't take me a year
Really I should have finished this guy days ago, but my nose has been rather messed up, sort of hard to draw when your body wants to lean to one side. Which is how...I'm typing this.ANYHOO....this guy is dubbed Foxshin. Why you ask? (For those of you who don't ask, tough poopz
) It's simple...because something like 2 years ago, and I were having a discussion about something random...(when aren't my conversations random) and I said..."Hey! I should draw Fox in shin style!" Which was agreed to be an awesome idea. 2 years later, TADA Foxshin is finally born.AND...as with all my other drawings it horridly needs color. It's impossible to figure out what color goes where even if you knew Fox's basic colors. So yes, Fox's standard colors still apply, light yellow, black, red, and white. BUT WHERE DO THE COLORS GO. No one knows...cept me. I'll color it someday, RIGHT? Anyway, enough long winded explanations and rantings, enjoy. :3

i love the feathers!! how do you do them? mine always end up looking cartoonish or like elongated scales.

Put the uh...quill or whatever in there, and then draw angled lines coming off of those....to represent...whatever the fuzzy part of the feather is called lol

That's pretty random, and yes irrelevant, but not like I always follow any specific thing myself. I R PRETTY RANDOM.

Pretty simple and to the point, ref'd a pic of Fox that you already colored and sampled stuff right from it for the most part. I also learned a better way to color 8D SO IT WAS A GREAT LEARNING EXPERIENCE.

Buuh, wow. That's actually pretty damn close to what it would be. The only thing is a lot of the black area is actually red for they are his markings. Which would be the ones on his hands, fore legs, the one on his upper thigh and shoulder, his neck, and the little spiky areas along his chest and torso? If you'd call it a torso? lol The front section of his wings, and the stripe down his back. So really I guess it'd be easier to say most of the dark area is red lol.
Ironically enough though, I originally thought of the feathers at the back of his wings being solid black, but I think I like the way you did them two-toned better. Same with the little ones on his face. lol. Nice job on the shading too. Kudos.

8D Thanks! I didn't really put much thought into the shading because at that point I think I was rushing to finish it before I fell asleep, so I personally thought it stunk ;( I'm glad you like it though, hehe.

To put any shading on there is decent. The fact that you even gave it a point of light was worthwhile.

Honestly this is probably one of the better shading jobs I've done ;A; Most of the time my light source is pretty much undefined.
