Run, Goro...Run!But he's alone! D: What happened?
Well... he doesn't use just his agility to (try to) win, but sometimes he demonstrates that he's not stupid as he sometimes seems... he often finds shortcuts (or creates them by himself, climbing and jumping around and in some case swimming)...so he seems to lead the race but... beware the bridges! They might not be robust as much as they seem! ;D
I had some difficulty finding the right idea (for me)... I wanted something that would have showed a landscape
Well... It's a good occasion to try different ways to make water
Enjoy ;D
I know, it looks like green hill zone because of the checkered walls, I did the sketch of this out of my home and I couldn't remember how the walls are

why has noone noticed that goro is in green hill zone when the race is at emerald hill zone ._.

if it's for the walls well...I'm not the only one who made checkered walls xD Anyway, I did the sketch of this out of home and having the doubt (emerald or green hill?) I did a background who would have been okay anyway (palms, waterfalls and bridges are both in green hill and emerald). Your pedantry would be totally fine if I'd have drawn Goro running around...I don't know, Star Light zone or Scrap Brain zone

I'm a big fan of how well you faded the background in contrast to the foreground so as to make the latter 'pop'. That water as well, wow, my eyes keep sweeping over it in amazement. I dunno why he's so panicked though - He's CLEARLY going to make that gap. At least, in my opinion. XD

anyways I really love the sorta bright effect on the colors and the soft shading,the details on the hills and sea in the background and Goro's pose and the look on his face too! Totally way past cool work here Martz!

Anyway, that's a Shaded + Background, its price goes between 20$ and 30$ depending on the character/background complexity (in this case there's a simple character and a complex background)

Nice work here, I like Goro's surprised expression. Also, the background is just simply amazing. Maybe the bridge was worn out by Sonic running constantly on it numerous times. XD
