So after dealing with a certain so called threat which are the ninja mice, Master Splinter returns home in the sewers where he settles down in private for the time being while his turtle sons are still asleep, while trying to meditate in privacy he felt a sudden feeling in his toes and when he look he saw one of the nice mice who manages to avoid being squished but ended up stuck in between Splinter's toes which the little guy was trying to squeeze out.

Merciful to the little mouse Splinter pulls the little guy out from his toes, the little ninja mouse was quite fearful and beg for mercy and doesn't want to cause anymore trouble which Splinter felt pity towards him and decides to accept him as a little disciple or servant might even make him part of the family, however Master Splinter also tells the little ninja mouse to forsake the bad path he walked on along his fellow who still walks that path so thus the little ninja mouse agreed as he took off his mask and bows while apologizing to Splinter.

Master Splinter than presents him his right foot to the little mouse showing him is now squashed former comrades and now his first lesson by Splinter was to clean them off his foot which the little ninja mouse dutifully did now that he is serving a new master.
