Description
Well has her take on it, oddly enough I got into listening to Les Miserables around the time she did (and it was totally by coincidence which is the funny part, I blame Susan Boyle actually) Anyway did my furry take on the song "Fantine's Arrest" a familiar face-ish.Random fluffy whores, the rough customer: a rat (since that IS what Fantine called him) Javert as a lion/sabercat, (gee i wonder who i was thinking of... / scarcasm) A fox as Fantine and a wolf as the quickly advancing Jean Valjean.... shut up it looked awesome when I did it.
4-5 hours work, pencil on paper.

Duuuuuuuuuude, I really like this! They may be foxes, but it's probably one of the most legit fan arts of this story that I've seen. Besides, I love foxes!

Excellent work on the facial expressions they convey the sense of fear, greed, desperation, and stuck upness of the verious characters in the scene.

It's so cool to see you doing these scenes with multiple characters! Just a quick critique: I'd play with the depth a little bit. The streetwalkers and Valjean are nicely anchored in the background, but the trio up front feels a little crowded. I think it has something to do with tangency of their feet to the bottom of the frame of reference. Simply panning the angle down a bit might help, dunno, but it's something to play with.

possibly, this is going in my portfolio for a possible internship at disney/pixar/bluesky/dreamworks, basically whoever would take me. If i find the time I'll colour it but otherwise im fairly glad it works as a stand alone peice

*GASP!* Kat, this... is... AAAAAAH! I love this so much! You drew Javert... *dies*
Ha ha ha, I also blame Susan Boyle for my renewed interest in Les misΓ©rables (although... in a good way! She's a talented lady). I haven't listened to it since my school days (we performed it on stage). I had forgotten how much I loved the music... how emotional it made me.
*erhem* Btw, I really do love this. I knew what it was before I saw the title. Poor Fantine. Heh heh, seems the rat's name is Bamatabois (in other words, 'that jerk'
.
"Tell me quickly what's the story, who saw what and why and where? Let him give a full description, let him answer to Javert!"
