Description
This is my entry for the 2009 ElfQuest Fan Art Calendar ([link] ). The theme was "Magic of ElfQuest", so I decided to make the focus of the image not a specific elf, but the peculiar glowy mosaic that Savah has behind her "throne". Why does it glow in her presence? No other elf has evidenced ability to make things glow without fire.ElfQuest is copyright WaRP Graphics

Too bad he didn't figure out how to fully tap into Geothermal energy the way Door and Egg did.

You can find all of the elfquest comics online at elfquest.com, actually (This particular scene isn't from any of the comics, though. It is only mentioned in the novelization of the first graphic novel that Savah's "stained glass throne" was made for her by her rock-shaping lifemate Yurek.)

Thanks! Yeah, her dress is my favorite part of how this turned out. ^_^ I think I drew the whole thing just to have an excuse to draw that dress of hers from the lovemates calendar.

So cool! Savah goes nder-appreciated much to much. Though not as under appreciated as, say, Eyeshigh...
This is cool!

All the sun villagers really are under appreciated. In book one and two we saw glimpses of a culture that had a lot of depth and tradition, but eventually it became very one dimensional.

Oh I love this one. I really love the colors O_o. That's the kind of shading I never managed with my art. It's amazing. It looks to deep and ... vivid.
The idea is great, too. And I agree... I like the way you did Savah here ^_^
