Don't even get me started on what happens when you fuse Spirited Away and Kingdom Hearts, because I will be completely inconsolable.

So, this summer I ran across an interesting project called Kingdom Hearts Big Bang, and I figured that since I didn't really have much else to do, I'd give it a shot. Basically, a group of fanfic authors and a group of artists were paired up, the artist doing an illustration for their partner writer. I was scrolling through the story summaries, ran across one for a Spirited Away fusion, and, well...here we are.

This is for the amazing Callunavulgari's story When the Wild Grasses Weave (archiveofourown.org/works/9807… (a quick note that this is a much heavier and darker take on the story, but an incredible read nonetheless.)) She was great to work with, and I am absolutely in love with her writing, all of it. Working on this piece has helped me improve so many things, and really test myself, and I can easily say that this is one of my favorite pieces to date.

Let it be known that drawing dragon-Axel made me giddy like the sap I actually am.
