I happen to have an asynchronous canon-crossing fursona. My fursona has been pictured with one of my original characters, but this fursona can also show up with friends' fursonas. Never mind details like year, location, and backstory. These may not match up among multiple characters in an artistic composition, but that's fine.

My old reference sheet was from May 2012, and I wanted to be much more consistent with the fur patterns that I use for my fursona. If you check my Fursona gallery folder, there's clearly some inconsistency in orange vs. red and every shade in between, not to mention the brown leg marking height which has varied. Lately, I sent Verli my "Fox of Light and Rain" picture as a reference in lieu of my old reference sheet. You can find her "Gone Fishin'" speed paint in my "Own Fursona" favorites folder, as an example of how my old reference sheet wasn't quite the color scheme I was looking for.

I love receiving gift art- what do you know, now it's this much easier to draw my fursona.

Fall 2016 updates: The colors and visual design details of my fursona are unchanged roughly some three years later. My fursona can be drawn with the size/proportions of a red fox in the fox's first winter season. This would mean a red fox who has only very recently reached a claim on adulthood.

The fursonas/characters that would be most suitable to depict with my fursona would be the OCs from the "Transpecies" story I'm writing and/or the fursonas/characters belonging to Bixbyiter , MistyGoldArt , or Konveekou .
