Description
VIDEO DRAW [link]Just One Day artwork (C) foxstory 2011. Characters left to right- Douglas, Ronnie, Keilidh are (C) respective creators. See *tyronniesaur and *Keimagine on deviantART. I have known Ronnie and Keilidh online for some time, and their art is a great inspiration to me.
I found their profiles as ~AppleMutt and !LolliPup in Spring 2010, and was really inspired by the level of artistic vision and the concept of friendship even with someone far away. It's remarkable how the online world allows people to make connections like this, finding those rare individuals in the world who can make all the difference in others' lives.
I was like, well, it would be great to draw someone's fursona and I guess share the art with them out of appreciation for what they've created with their ideas and vision. My spring 2010 art was like, uh, very poorly drawn. So I spent some months improving, then joined dA in October 2010. Since then, I've been working to improve my skills and get to know other artists better. And now, more than a year after seeing that amazing art from Spring 2010, I feel like I'm a part of that world too.
Oh, Imagine That! (song for video draw, by Max & Simon)
...artwork title is Just One Day because even that amount of time as fursona form would be amazing. Weather like this would also be really nice! And certain elements in this artwork are meant to symbolize the artists involved, beyond just the characters.

HI AHFJKDSH SORRY FOR SUCH A LATE REPLY...
this is great though, I really like it! I think it's one of your best pictures yet xD
I can see all the effort you put in it, in the apples and skittles and the grass and all the other details, and even making it a video draw haha, I appreciate it! I also love how you drew our sonas <:
Thank you! <33

Suddenly finding this message last week was really one of those "oh wow! c:" moments, I wasn't sure what you thought for awhile. So I then commented on your new journal with a link to something I had been waiting to upload, but I'll put it here too

Thank you so much for this comment! Especially from someone with your art talent, it means a lot to hear that this was one of my best artworks. I hoped to make it a lot more detailed than what I usually draw~ like with that background and different poses.
You're welcome! <3

Thank you so much! I really appreciate getting comments like this, too. My older trees are like LOL EPIC FAIL AND YOU CALL THAT ART?
I have lots and lots of them I haven't uploaded xD
but after a fair amount of practice I can do some decent stuff I guess- photoshop layers and the watercolor/cutout filters really help with giving it a nice effect and watercolor ambience. Of course some people just do lots of painting in SAI or PS... but I still rely on filters a lot. Thanks for your comment.

Yeah, when I used photosphop, I really enjoyed using all of those! Its too bad I've moved onto Corel though, which is frankly,a slightly less professional compared to adobe.
You have defiantly improved though! I love all of your work, it is so beautiful, and has a style all of its own! If you ever wanted to do an art trade, I'd be very interested indeed!

Thank you so much! I think I tried Corel since a version came with my tablet, but I wasn't able to use the interface as easily as photoshop.
Also, I really like your typo or autocorrect~ that I have defiantly improved. As in, I defied the temptation to give up or not develop my style, and then improved in a defiant way. Sometimes autocorrect has changed my words to other words spelled correctly and I've said things like this in texting.
I really appreciate that you think my artwork has a style of its own, I've been working on that for more than a year when it comes to animal art and all that. And please note me for any ideas you have about an art trade, that's definitely interesting to me!

Thank you so much for this comment! The backgrounds usually take me the most time, but they're not like my most favorite thing. Also, thanks for the fave!

I can easily believe that you spend a lot on backgrounds, bacause I can see that! I think that most beautiful drawing are those with deteiled backgrounds

Thank you! I spent a fair amount of time on it, as this was my first time doing this set of individuals together in one artwork. I really wanted it to not be... poorly drawn, that would just not match what I wanted to say with "a picture worth a thousand words"
Even if it took me a long time to reach this level in my artwork (my spring 2010 art was starting from scratch at drawing canines basically), I am glad that I took the journey to get here.

Thank you! That grass was actually kind of quickly drawn, I think it would be awesome to be able to draw grass more like Strawberry Fields Forever and Windy Dayne (in ~AppleMutt 's gallery). That kind of flowy, artistic look that seems as though nature was itself a digital painting.
Like, I try to do my own style, and I sort of think that I don't actually make anything good. For fursonas, it's a more worthwhile and interesting challenge to do something in an original style! But I'm less interested in grass and trees and forest/mountain backgrounds, as I would rather work on the characters' appearances. I've sort of relied on a number of different Photoshop brushes and filters to make my backgrounds for awhile now.
But- in my current drawing, I'm doing the Fade effect on the brushstrokes for grass so they narrow towards the top without adjusting thickness each time I do a new blade of grass. It's a new style for me, and I hope the finished product turns out well!

afklnsf I loooove the grass here AND there <3
no you always make good things! I hate doing backgrounds too, that's probably why I'm so bad at them xD
Interesting technique! I hope it works well for you c:

Thank you! I've basically done the background and sketch, just need to finish lineart, color, and shade it.
