Sooooo *cough* uhm..no comment lol

I can't fight it anymore. I'm turning into an MLP fan. It's one of the few shows I get to watch nowadays (No TV) that never fails to put a smile on my face. So yeah, I like it. I don't wanna be called a brony or anything though, that's nerdy lol I like the show and the pony style is fun and easy to draw. That's all there is to it.

Anyway! This app is actually long overdue I joined this group quite a while ago, as you can see from the date on the app. I was just busy with PMD and couldn't finish it up.

Lemme introduce you to my (nearly) fully thought out pony OC (That is NOT a ponyfication of myself, BTW), Cocoa.

Name: Cocoa Butter
Age: Young Adult (17-19)
Talent: Beverages (Good at making everything from Milkshakes to Juice)
Personality
Cocoa is a steadfast and honest pony, but also a rather quiet one. She's a great listener, but doesn't like confrontation, and as a result has trouble standing up for herself. She gets nervous easily, and never likes to put herself out of her comfort zone. Because of this, she generally has to be forced into doing something, not that doing so is very hard. She's very kind though, and is usually the one that somepony would go to if they needed advice.

She didn't have very many friends where she used to live, and is very reserved about making new ones now that she's moved to Ponyville. This is mainly because of a dark secret that she holds within her, that she absolutely never reveals to anypony, for the sake of dying from embarrassment. For whatever reason, it seems to cause her to be more distant with fellow mares, and more relaxed around boys.

Cocoa isn't the smartest of ponies, but she's not dumb either. The best way to describe her would be, well, average. She doesn't stick out very much and she likes it like that.

History:
Cocoa used to live with her family in Fillydelphia, where they owned a small cafe downtown and earned a modest living. It seems strange for her to leave such a comfortable situation, even if she was a bit clumsy as a waitress in the cafe, but apparently there was some kind of event that made it unbearable for her to stay home any longer. She never talks about it, and changes the subject whenever it gets brought up. Whatever it was, the event seems to be painful, and caused her to leave her home and everything she knew to start life on her own in Ponyville.

Cocoa gained her cutie mark when she was very young when her mother first started to teach her the mechanics of working in the cafe. She was teaching her how to make coffee when surprisingly enough, Cocoa's first brew was vastly more delicious than anything they had ever brewed before. Her cutie mark doesn't seem to match her talent very well though, the only possible basis being that her favorite type of beverage happens to be hot cocoa. She likes it well enough, and has had a lot of fun developing her drink making skills over the years.

Extra Info
As a Unicorn, Cocoa uses her magic to aid in all of her activities. She is pretty skilled with using it, and actually depends on it to make up for her rather clumsy hoof coordination.

Cocoa runs a small lemonade stand towards the south end of Ponyville, where she sells very cheap, but very delicious, lemonade in order to try and start making her living and make a name for herself.

The necklace that Cocoa wears has much meaning behind it, though she refuses to talk about just what that meaning is. It seems to have something to do with the event that caused her to move away. Wearing it reminds her of the pain of this event, but she continues to wear it anyway because of an apparent promise she made to somepony.

Sometimes, mostly while she's working, she likes to pull her mane up into a ponytail to try and keep her naturally wavy locks out of her face

Cocoa's pet, a parrot named Marco, was sent with her by her parents. He is the family pet, and used to provide much entertainment at their cafe. He knows how to speak many words, and can even take simple drink orders. They named him Marco because every time anypony would say "Marco" he would always reply with "Polo".

Cocoa's mother insisted that she take Marco with her when she left, fearing that her daughter would get too lonely on her own, and also hoping that their "good luck charm" would help the young mare get her new life started more easily

I know that we need bits and stuff to earn things like necklaces and ribbons and pets, but I already had all of this planned out in my head when I first joined the group, and when the restrictions were placed, the group said it was okay to leave our ponies as is, since we joined before the rules were finalized. Please let me know if you have any concerns, however

Thanks for suffering through the girly-ness XDD I don't know how much I'll actually be participating in this group, but it'll be fun to have something to actually use Cocoa for lol
