Mission Details:
Peaches falls ill!! And she's not alone, when Kyurem's virus causes many of Team Amber's friends to become sick, the healthy members decide to team up to find the cure! Not only that, the normally strong and protective Knight of Team Hailfire has also fallen ill, and now it's up to Yukina to venture out into the blizzard on her own to help him!

Spore Version
As Sprout once again returns to her hometown of Sapling Village, leading the Collab Team in search of Breloom Spores, a key ingredient in the medicine needed to help their friends, she finds that Peaches and the others may not be the only ones in need of curing. Sprout's long-buried family roots are finally ripped to the surface again, and as a broken heart and masked pain is revealed, Sprout learns that perhaps the strongest and most potent cure is that of family love.

This Event is a collaborative effort between myself, Souzou-Kappukeki , and DreamofSnow The idea is for each of us to do a different version of this story, with each of us going after one of the three ingredients. Mine is the Spores, while Souzou's is Seaweed, and Snow's is the Blue Flowers. I will update these pages with links to the beginning of their comics once they are posted

Ooooookay, so that confidence from when I posted the cover? Gone. lol. As usual I'm running behind, and it'll be a miracle if I get done in time. Thankfully I'm not doing anything ambitious for this event, and it only takes me about 4-6 hours to get an entire part done (since everything's already framed out and the text has been typed). I have up to like, Part 4 sketched out, so those pages will take even less time than that. After that I'm going to do my best to just draw the line art, sketchy or not, to start with. That takes out a major step in the process and should save a LOT of time. I've been wanting my stuff to look sketchier anyway XD

So about this page. We start off with a poetic narrative by Yukina. For those that don't know already she's secretly a passionate writer, and keeps a growing collection of filled in journals full of poems, stories, and just diary entries. This love for writing, and her "princess" background is also the main cause for her way of speaking. She doesn't speak often, but when she does she speaks very fluently and poetically, which sometimes leads to saying a lot more than necessary to get the point across.

The situation between her and Knight at the moment is this: Knight has fallen ill (despite being a fire-type, which irks him too, believe me) and he is much grouchier than usual. Most of this is just his frustration at hardly being able to stand. Yukina is used to his rough demeanor, and so it doesn't bother her too much. She's mostly just worried sick about him, and with how the Aspear berries she keeps bringing don't seem to be helping anymore, she's growing increasingly concerned that he may not really pull out of this.

That's the cause for her tears in this page. It's a mix of worrying so much about him, and being scared stiff of having to do what she's about to do all on her own. She doesn't want to leave his side, but she'd rather search for a way to get him this medicine on her own, then stay by his side and watch him draw his final breath. That alone would really kill her.

Not much more to say...except that Yukina isn't the only one worrying it seems XDD What could Sprout be pacing about like that for?

PS. The plan currently is to try and post 2-3 parts a day. Seems crazy and it'll take upwards of 9 hours probably if not more, but it's what I gotta do. Expect parts 2 and 3 tomorrow.
