Mission Details:
Master Zhu has lost his precious fireworks bag! Strangely enough, the contents, a load of fireworks, was left behind just inside of Creeping Forest. It MUST be retrieved and new-mother Peaches is on the job! After Sprout leaves Tao Village for a family visit to Sapling Village, Peaches is left behind to care for their egg on her own. Will the dangerous fireworks scramble the unborn baby pokemon?! Or will Peaches be able to juggle a mission AND child care??

Looks like it's time to call in some help!

Note: Because I did not join the guild in time, Team Amber was not able to participate in Mission 1, so there is no comic about it.

This page is my favorite of the 7. It's not as funny as Part 4, but I really like the display of emotion Peaches shows here. It can get kind of confusing between her thoughts and the flashbacks she's thinking about, but all of it reminds her of what she has to keep standing for. Up to this point, the fear has consumed her thoughts and emotions, making it so that she can't even move. That's also part of the reason she collapsed, as she just couldn't find the energy to stay on her feet because of the fear.

I also like this page because you get to see a tiny glimpse into Peaches' past, as well as part of when her and Sprout first met. I already explained how they met briefly in the comments of my application, but I plan to expand on it more in the Prologue I will be working on shortly.

Also, it's not completely evident, but Peaches is insecure about becoming a mother, mainly due to her own past with her own mother, but at this point in the comic, she realizes that even if it isn't hatched yet, the pokemon waiting to be born inside that egg is just another precious friend and a bond she must protect. With that in mind, she finally finds the courage to get back up and take it back by force.

PS. Again, the hit against Slasher has pokemon game thoughts behind it. Slasher is a Dark/Ice type, making him twice as weak against a fighting type move, such as Brick Break. I'm sure you all already knew that XD But I just wanted to point it out. So with 4x the damage, it easily took him out in one hit.
