Mission Details:
Peaches falls ill!! And she's not alone, when Kyurem's virus causes many of Team Amber's friends to become sick, the healthy members decide to team up to find the cure! Not only that, the normally strong and protective Knight of Team Hailfire has also fallen ill, and now it's up to Yukina to venture out into the blizzard on her own to help him!
Spore Version
As Sprout once again returns to her hometown of Sapling Village, leading the Collab Team in search of Breloom Spores, a key ingredient in the medicine needed to help their friends, she finds that Peaches and the others may not be the only ones in need of curing. Sprout's long-buried family roots are finally ripped to the surface again, and as a broken heart and masked pain is revealed, Sprout learns that perhaps the strongest and most potent cure is that of family love.

This Event is a collaborative effort between myself, Souzou-Kappukeki , and DreamofSnow The idea is for each of us to do a different version of this story, with each of us going after one of the three ingredients. Mine is the Spores, while Souzou's is Seaweed, and Snow's is the Blue Flowers. I will update these pages with links to the beginning of their comics once they are posted

Note: Because I did not join the guild in time, Team Amber was not able to participate in Mission 1, so there is no comic about it.

===============
After arriving at the home of her aunt, Rosemary, Sprout gets heavily scolded by her and her sisters for taking on a trial from the Elder. Confused by what the trial is, the rest of the Collab team asks Rosemary to explain.
Rosemary tells the story of how Sapling Village came to be, and how the Elder of the time was able to fend off a band of fierce thieves by convincing their leader to accept a battle of wits against him. When their leader loses, he seeks to take the Elder's life in his rage, only to be challenged by the Elder's nephew, to a trial of combat, where the winner would be allowed to have Sapling Village as their own.
The Nephew wins the fight and slays the leader of the thieves, only to die himself from his own injuries a short time later. The thieves, now leaderless, are given one last option: Climb up Mt. Bolero and collect from its icy peaks a rare kind of flower. Doing so successfully will grant them citizenship to Sapling Village. After leaving, however, the thieves are never seen again.

Awesome, I can't wait
By the way, I forgot to mention this (I haven't stated it anywhere yet) but Kaya's father is an Arcanine, and she has a sister that's a growlithe, so she'd probably feel pretty comfortable around Knight. I hope that helps

Oh yay, spoilers X3 Yes! I will definitely be able to include a reference to that in the story. Thanks for letting me know :3 My Mission 3 comic was kinda rushed in the writing because I had soo soooooo much I wanted my team to do. But with this, I'll really be able to pour my all into a great story with nice descriptions. As a partner in this collab, and since this is a mission, I'll do my best to get us a great score this time around! Maybe we could even place!!

That would be amazing I'm in this group just for fun, but I won't lie, it would be awesome to place. Are we going to submit this as a writing piece, or art? I'm fine with both, but since you want to make the story really descriptive, I think it should be a writing piece. I'd feel bad if our entry was judged only for the art, since the story wouldn't be judged, too.

haha yeah, I think it just needs to be a writing piece, since that's where most of the story will be. The illustrations will supplement the story and make it more noticeable in the group (since I've noticed a startling difference in writing pieces that get noticed with and without pics to go with them). They will also break up the story into the necessary "chapters" so that it's not too much all at once.
Yeah, I'm in it for the fun too lol It's just that it seems like I could only ever do really cool stories on the Events, which aren't judged. And since this is looking like a good story too, and it's an actual Mission this time, then I'm excited to see the results XP

I've noticed that, too. I'll be honest, it usually takes me a while to go through all of the stuff in my inbox from PMD, and when I'm really pressed for time, I skip through some of the messages. I think the people who do this all the time just look at the preview pics, and if something doesn't have a picture, just skip it. It's a shame, since there are some very good writers/stories (For example, PK's illustrations usually have a very interesting story when they're accompanied by one).

lol I...actually don't really look at the PMD deviations much at all XDD;; I watch all the artists of teams I'm friends with, so I get their updates that way. I'll give the stack of deviations for the group a quick glance over and pick out anything that looks interesting, but that's pretty much it XP
And yes, I am also one of the ones who doesn't even look at literary stuff without a pic that goes with it. Mostly because I simply don't have the time to read stuff like that.
I have been keeping up on all of PK's stuff though

To be fair, I also usually don't have time to look through the deviations. It's mostly the people I watch and people whose comics are interesting that I follow. I don't think anyone has time to go through 200+ artworks per day.
