Just a warmup I did today while playing around with making sketchy lines in SAI. I can't believe how simple it was to make the pen tool do that XP At last I can make sketches!

This is a scene from Team Amber's history, around the time when they first formed the team. That's why Sprout's still a Chikorita, and Peaches still has her bandage. Sprout has doubts if they'll really be able to make it as a Rescue team. As they make their way back to their tree, they're attacked by a small band of Starly, led by a Tranquill, who want to harvest all of Sprout's Pecha Berries from the bushes she's so carefully grown. Sprout immediately cowers, telling them to just take it an leave. Peaches knows that Sprout needs the Pecha berries for her daily battle against the toxins in her body, not to mention that Pecha berries are her absolute favorite food. So, she picks a fight with all of them.

During the battle, Sprout watches Peaches in awe as she bravely takes on the entire group of pokemon, until some of them decide to attack the "weaker one". Sprout is attacked only a couple times before Peaches comes to her aid, protecting her and fending off the remaining birds.

I made this look like a fake manga page just for the heck of it XP
