Well, the 4komas are now back on track. Hope all of those who have been pestering me to make more are happy. As you may be able to tell. I’m taking a step back here and not going with the final three episodes, but I’m filling in the gaps that are at the start. I didn’t start doing these 4komas until I saw the third episode of the second season. They didn’t become regular until some time after the fifth episode.
I thought it might make for a funny joke to show how normal Lelouch’s life was before Kallen and C.C. returned his memories. The second panel I think if one of my favorites. Really shows off just how out of shape he is in.
If you pay attention to details here you might get some more laughs. I almost did a joke with Kallen curious while Lelouch didn’t lose his memories of her, he didn’t react to her in the casino. That’s a plot hole that many fans have noticed. My original joke was going to be something along the lines of Charles altering Lelouch’s memories of her in such a way that he wouldn’t be very forth coming in saying much. Say, perhaps she was more ‘aggressive’ with him during the Black Rebellion. If you don’t get it then you are too young. I went with this, because I already had a good 4koma joke involving Kallen in the second one. I thought it would be a bit too much.
