Code Geass - Revival[Episode- R2 13]
Lot of people doubted I could find something funny about this more recent episode. It did have a rather depressing end. I got it done by Wednesday.
Well, point in fact that I had the idea for this one when I first watched the RAW version. I just needed to wait for the subtitles to get the dialog that I needed.
To set the scene. General Bartley is showing Cornelia around. V.V. shows up, but before he can finish talking she throws a dagger into his head, but he quickly revives.
I'm happy I came up with this idea. I really looked forward to drawing Cornelia with her sexy new look.
I noticed something last minute recently. It looks like Cornelia's left arm is strapped to her outfit. I'm not sure if she can move it at all just yet. I had to take that into account with this 4koma. I guess she hasn't completely healed yet.
The hardest part about drawing this one was just getting her expressions right. I was going for a confused/interested look. Like she's thinking, "Why wont he die?".
I almost didn't put Bartley into this comic. Last minute I decided to add him. Just seemed wrong to keep him out of this scene since he was there in the show. I just love how at the end he's tired of waiting.

About Shirley. I liked her character. I was never a Lelouch/Shirley supporter, though. It's just sad just how much this innocent girl has had to suffer throughout the whole series. It will be interesting to see how Lelouch will act now and see what Suzaku does. He was responsible for her, but didn't make sure she was gone.

XD haha, i had a good guess that u were gonna draw this scene. But, i mean, i think i missed something on V.V.'s history, SHES A GUY!!!! WTF!!! i thought he was a girl, til he said the whole, AS UR UNCLE, thing. i nearly had to watch that scene like 10 times before i thought i wasnt seeing things. But anyways, great work on the 4koma, and keep it up!!

If someone had been listening in on THAT conversation, they would have been like, WTF is goin on here?!?! but im glad u took the other approach. either way, this weeks issue would have been halarious!! cant wait to see how the next episode will work out, its gonna be interesting

oh, that would SUK!!!! i wonder if Lelouch will find out that Rolo was the one that killed Shirley? that would make him flip out and kill him where he stands. Another thing that interest me is the Wing attachments that are on the Guren and Lancelot in the new opening. those look pretty cool if u ask me.

actually, i was thinkin the EXACT same thing. it really does look like a bat, but the arm was changed too. u kinda have to look, but it makes u think that the Guren we saw was a copy made by Lloyd or something. i mean, he was examining it.

The arms aren't too different. The left arm no longer has a grenade launcher and the claws on the right hand are golden.
If you go to the official Japanese website you can clearly see the Guren is on the Japanese side.

I am glad you didn't do anything about Shirley. I didn't really like her, but her death was really sad. I hope Rolo will pay for this... badly!

Heh yeah I love her expression "Why won't he die, though the one in the last panel is pretty cool as well, it's something like "Mhm let's see just how much damage can he take" she looks a bit tired but also playful with that huge hammer. There is also that bit of disappointment when V.V. interrupts her little experiment.
Mhm as for C.C. and V.V. regenerative powers... I wonder how strong are they, cause I don't think that after getting a Nuke blown to their faces or anti-matter thrown at them they would come back.
Yeah I noticed the arm too but I guess I didn't looked closer cause I thought she was holding on a wound on her side. As for the arm's healing... I wonder why didn't Cornelia visit any Britanian hospital, was it because she was afraid that Emperor may try to stop her from searching for Outlaw, or maybe she felt that her honour was destroyed and she can't come back to her previous life before she reclaims her and Euphie's honour.
Yup her new outfit definitely looks sexy ^^ and really beautiful the way you've drawn it though I think that her hair gives a kinda... desperate feel, she is no longer the proud warrior and princess she was. She is kinda... a desperate outlaw looking for a way to regain her previous life.
I just love the variety of toys she used on V.V. I guess he didn't had this much excitement since... since Long ago XD
Yeah Bradley was an ingenious last minute add I just the way he looks on his watch in the third panel, and in the fourth ?? Well he won't be interrupting family's disputes ^^

If her goal was to kill the Order then at that moment she's realizing that it's going to be harder then she thought.
I'm not sure why she's not in contact with Britannia. She isn't even contacting her most loyal Knight.

After all she is the Second Princess... ya know I observed that family a bit and I think that Second Princess and Prince had it harder than Firsts rather than live in luxury and wait for the opportunity to take the throne, they had to fight and prove their worth, that's why both Shneizel and Cornelia are so, well... great
I don't think that was her goal, her objective is to drag out the Order's and Geass' existence to the daylight. She needs proves that Euphie didn't killed all those people because she was insane. She have to find those informations and show them to public, that's why she assaulted the Order.
I'm not surprised XD Everyone would get bored if someone else was trying to kill an immortal guy for couple of minutes XD

C.C. was blown into pieces in 25th episode of season 1 if it is right what I heard. She menaged to regenerate, tough. C.C. was also burnttill only bones were left from her.
They can't die no matter what, it seems. They are immortal.
