Code Geass - Revival[Episode- R2 13]
Lot of people doubted I could find something funny about this more recent episode. It did have a rather depressing end. I got it done by Wednesday.
Well, point in fact that I had the idea for this one when I first watched the RAW version. I just needed to wait for the subtitles to get the dialog that I needed.
To set the scene. General Bartley is showing Cornelia around. V.V. shows up, but before he can finish talking she throws a dagger into his head, but he quickly revives.
I'm happy I came up with this idea. I really looked forward to drawing Cornelia with her sexy new look.
I noticed something last minute recently. It looks like Cornelia's left arm is strapped to her outfit. I'm not sure if she can move it at all just yet. I had to take that into account with this 4koma. I guess she hasn't completely healed yet.
The hardest part about drawing this one was just getting her expressions right. I was going for a confused/interested look. Like she's thinking, "Why wont he die?".
I almost didn't put Bartley into this comic. Last minute I decided to add him. Just seemed wrong to keep him out of this scene since he was there in the show. I just love how at the end he's tired of waiting.

I love characters that never die. This is great.
Yay for Cornelia's return! Now she can go back to getting her Xena on. I know Schneizel could be an interesting character, but I know Cornelia could never be outdone by a guy who's name so closely resembles the word schnitzel.
This sis even better since I'm actually caught up with the series now. =3

Haha, after watching this episode (which is pretty depressing), I was curious as to how you would do your 4koma. I have to say that this idea is brilliant and hilarious. XD

Funny 4koma. Though I think her pulling a butcher knife at the end of it would've made it a tad funnier. He'd be running from her in case she pulled a yandere on him. XD

Keep on doin' what you're DOIN' bro! I'll just keep on FAVE-ing these! In my case all these 4-komas are like a series of spoilers for me since I haven't seen any of R2 aside from eps 1 & 2...But that just makes me want to see the rest of the series that much sooner now! ^_^

I'm glad you included Gen. Bartley! He's one of my favorite minor characters in this series! For some reason the idea of an anime character that is balding, overweight, middle-aged, and wears glasses (well, half a pair of glasses, i.e., a monocle) being COMPETENT, SMART, and LOYAL makes me happy. (Why could that be, I wonder, hmmm...? 
I have always believed the CC and VV are aliens of some kind, or remnants of some ancient super-civilization like the Mu or Atlanteans, that had all the super-tech that Emperor Charles is trying to recreate.
And I have no doubt that, when Lulu discovers exactly how Shirley died, he will crush Rollo like a bug. But this is nevertheless the first step toward what I always believed would be the ending of the series: with Lelouch victorious over Dad militarily, but utterly desolate and bereft of all human tenderness and compassion.

The girl Chiba from the Holy Blades is pretty sexy. I'm glad she's still alive.
I thought Lelouch was warming up to Rolo, but if he gets caught in this it will get bad.

I'm not disappointed she's alive, nor her glasses-wearing comrade whom I'm sure some of the female fans admire. I just mourn the loss of some of the few less-than-pretty middle-aged, competent, skilled, and forthright characters. Who in this cast is still alive and much over that age of about 30? The Emperor and General Bartley are about it. Maybe that one bearded tubby guy who seems to be one of Xing-Ke's subordinates (whom we have seen very little of). After them the oldest regular characters are probably Lakshatta and Toudou, and I think they're early 30s at oldest. (Well, OK, CC is probably several centuries old, but magical beings don't count!)

Well, if you watch the animes they are literally saying, with C.C., "Shi-Tsu". To be heard as "C-2". It's just the name is spelled C.C.

Man I just saw this episode last night and so want Rolo to die after he killed Shirley. I was thinking how were going to pull out something funny from a sad episode but once again you pulled off another funny 4koma. Keep it up dude!
