Code Geass - Revival[Episode- R2 13]
Lot of people doubted I could find something funny about this more recent episode. It did have a rather depressing end. I got it done by Wednesday.
Well, point in fact that I had the idea for this one when I first watched the RAW version. I just needed to wait for the subtitles to get the dialog that I needed.
To set the scene. General Bartley is showing Cornelia around. V.V. shows up, but before he can finish talking she throws a dagger into his head, but he quickly revives.
I'm happy I came up with this idea. I really looked forward to drawing Cornelia with her sexy new look.
I noticed something last minute recently. It looks like Cornelia's left arm is strapped to her outfit. I'm not sure if she can move it at all just yet. I had to take that into account with this 4koma. I guess she hasn't completely healed yet.
The hardest part about drawing this one was just getting her expressions right. I was going for a confused/interested look. Like she's thinking, "Why wont he die?".
I almost didn't put Bartley into this comic. Last minute I decided to add him. Just seemed wrong to keep him out of this scene since he was there in the show. I just love how at the end he's tired of waiting.

I had noticed that from the first time I saw her. It seemed weird.

The general thing seems to be that it's a leftover from her injuries during the Black Rebellion. She's clearly cradling her injured arm when Lelouch interrogates her.
Which leaves the implication that Cornelia has, since that moment, operated entirely on her own over the following year with no support other than her own personal first aid. Which is rather awesome.

well, I've been doing a little snooping around and got some interesting news. nothing too certain, but there's a chance that we wont see the end of Shirley quite yet
i saw an episodes list that went up to #20 and if i recall correctly it said "Shirley's miraculous recovery" and I've seen comments made elsewhere, it might be a load of crap, but it might be true.

I've only seen official titles up to 18. I'd be suspicious of odd rumors. Some are fueled by this unseen face of a woman in the extended preview. I know for a fact the woman that is seen is actually Kallen.

I think Cornelia has a look of... um... wet dog. Her hair is not jumpy anymore... Yet, it's normal - she had undergone a huge trauma... Good she's still alive!

Very amusing spin on the scene. I thought it was pretty badass when Cornelia "killed" V.V without even letting him finish his sentence, on the reasoning that he might have Geass. Usually characters let villians go through their monologues...

Although that would be hours of fun. Also is thanks to this episode now I know V.V. is a boy.
Also I'm just gonna go ahead and say this, thank God Shirley is out of the picture. Personally I think Rolo killed her not to save his "brother's" life but because if she had lived Shirley would've, eventually, thrown off Kaichou's calculations. Only thirteen weeks per person is just not enough for C.C.

Really, the clothes I've seen him in always looked male. Just a little flamboyant. Other Britannian males wear similar clothes. He just has rather long hair.
In Japanese when you say "boku". That's a sign a person is a male. Usually the more common word for "I" in Japanese is "atashi" or "watashi". Some males though use the term "boku". It's a masculine version of "I".
