Code Geass - Revival[Episode- R2 13]
Lot of people doubted I could find something funny about this more recent episode. It did have a rather depressing end. I got it done by Wednesday.
Well, point in fact that I had the idea for this one when I first watched the RAW version. I just needed to wait for the subtitles to get the dialog that I needed.
To set the scene. General Bartley is showing Cornelia around. V.V. shows up, but before he can finish talking she throws a dagger into his head, but he quickly revives.
I'm happy I came up with this idea. I really looked forward to drawing Cornelia with her sexy new look.
I noticed something last minute recently. It looks like Cornelia's left arm is strapped to her outfit. I'm not sure if she can move it at all just yet. I had to take that into account with this 4koma. I guess she hasn't completely healed yet.
The hardest part about drawing this one was just getting her expressions right. I was going for a confused/interested look. Like she's thinking, "Why wont he die?".
I almost didn't put Bartley into this comic. Last minute I decided to add him. Just seemed wrong to keep him out of this scene since he was there in the show. I just love how at the end he's tired of waiting.

Well, wouldn't you just snap if your sentences keep getting cut off. Even if you revive that still has to hurt. Which is what V.V. is trying to explain.

You might want to read my profiles journal. I'm working on 21, but if things go poorly with Kallen's character next episode there may be no more Code Geass 4komas.

Simply because that wasn't the last episode. Though it did sorta piss me off that his mother looks like the good guy until episode 21

Twists like that worry me. It was interesting. It's just that they teased at Kallen's romantic interest all season. I'd hate to see it go to waste from some stupid twist.
If a writer is going to tease at something all season they had better pay off.

I highly agree on Kallen's romantic intrest, but I still hate how they had Rolo kill Shirley, wanted to kill Nunnally and have them both killed off and make Rolo look like the good guy in the end. It's like say "Sure I killed your girlfriend and I wanted to kill the only sister you are close to, but at least I died of heart failure."

Nunnally's death was very sad. It all was in Rolo's personality.

It's a mixture of emotions. Terror that he's not dying, but at the same time extreme interest as to, "why isn't he dying?"

That's not really a new look. Whenever Kallen is in her "blending in" mode she wears her hair down like that. She only has that outfit for about two episodes.
