This is a commission that I only recently completed, and the person who hired me for this piece was kind enough to allow me to share it. It's one of the more unique things I've been asked to draw in quite a while.The basic idea is that these two Predators(Yautja) are training in a dojo at a standoff. The smaller male got a hit in on the larger female, and she's impressed. I know the mouths are different from the aliens in the canon series, but I was asked to use the more stylized designs I was provided in character sheets. I rather like it.
I was asked to do a more Japanese style dojo, but this species doesn't seem the paper wall type. I instead merged a Japanese dojo with more Aztec architecture, but with a hint of tech

Agreed about the architecture. Given the way this species moves in combat, they probably consider the walls to be part of the floor.

I was asked to make it look like he got a hit in and impressed her.. a little bleeding at the lip made sense. Almost forgot their blood glows.
It just didn't make sense to me that a culture with class would ever use something as delicate as paper walls.
