Description
This is a Hiragana chart I drew by hand. This is one of the simplest writing styles of the Japanese language. It's what's taught to grade school kids.Every character represents a syllable. It's actually a rather efficient writing system. Rather then building the language around each and every letter. The language is based on syllables.

That tends to happen when you scan out of a large hardback notebook.

If I ever get a graphic tablet I probably could make a new graph from sketch. It would also make for good practice.

so you reversed the placement of the characters on the katakana chart? well i guess this is fine too. was still working on my Japanese.

Actually these are the proper order of the characters.

Sorry, I meant to compare with your Katakana Chart. I looked at them and they're placed in this way, but when I looked closer, I noticed the hiragana and katakana characters were enlarged depending on the chart.

Most welcome...I feel stupid for asking.. I was born under the Chinese zodiac, Dragon.. an I wanted to get the Kanji[sp?] of that on my arm... along with 'Lustful'
Which would go first?.. or is this a dumb question?

Well, these aren't kanji. China and Japan use the same Kanji characters, but they use them differently. One character in Japan could mean something different in China

hmmm... interesting. I always wanted to learn Japanese. So I could understand better the real meanings of what the japanese people say and also for... insulting people on a language they don't know.
