Description
This is the Katakana chart. Another Japanese writing system. This style is more often used for foreign names and words. Like a Western style name.An example. My name Kris would be used spelling the characters for Ki-Ri-Su. Which in Japanese means Christian if you add the honorific chan to it.
If you want to try and covert your own name be sure you don't go by spelling, but by how the syllable sounds in your name.
Like the word "wizard" would be u-i-za-do.

I'm lucky to have a phonetically spelled name and my name readily fits the Japanese spelling of my name. I could write my name as γΈγ§γ·γ₯γ’. But the question is... How would write my last name??? Ko-ma-a sounds like "coma" and I don't know where Ka-ma came from...

Personally, I would call you γ―γͺγΉγ‘γγ and not γγͺγΉγ‘γγ, but maybe that's just how I'd read "Kris".
Ki-ri-su transliterates as "Kiris" to me, so I wouldn't say that. Also kurisu sounds cuter, like "chestnut-nest" xD

I grew up in Okinawa, Japan, and we used to have a huge poster of the Katakana alphabet with cartoon pictures and what-not when I was little. Way back then I used to have the entire alphabet memorized and would write the characters, too: A, I, U, E, O, Ka, Ki, Ku, Ke, Ko... It has been too long and I have forgotten nearly all of the Japanese I used to know. For shame. I miss Okinawa.

Actually, Jordan using Japanese katakana would be "yorudan".
Just because a name is translated into Japanese doesn't mean it will ave a Japanese meaning.

I'm not sure, but I would have to hear how your name is pronounced to really help you out there.
Sometimes things wont turn out the way you may think. Like the word 'the' in Japanese would be pronounced or spelled in Japanese as simply 'sa'. To show you another example. The name Arthur would be pronounced in Japanese as 'a-sa'.
You could be either right on or close. It could be what you used or possibly, 'de za re'.
