I'm still in kind of a mood this week. Got to say it sure is making me productive. More time I'm working the less I am thinking about other matters.On a separate matter. I kind of rushed this picture though. I was concerned that if Code Geass end sucks I would lose the mood to even make this picture and the idea was just too good to pass up.
As I said in my journal I talked about how I'm not watching the last three episodes of Code Geass. Not until the series ends and I will watch them all together.
To give me something else to watch I tried watching the anime Strike Witches. It's pretty good. It's kind of a loli fan service series, but all the little details they put in of WWII history makes up for that.
I was watching the series and I got the inspiration for this image. It all kind of fell together. This is sort of a what if image. Mixing Strike Witches and Code Geass.
In Strike Witches there is a country called Britannia, like with Code Geass; one girl has a magical glowing eye, the girls are witches, C.C. is considered a witch; and Kallen's VA(Voice Acctress) does the voice of one of the girls in Strike Witches.
Oddly enough the details that took up the most time was coloring in those Strike Units (Strike Witches flight gear, brooms) the girls wear on their legs. Not to mention designing them to be similar to the KMFs (Knightmare Frames. Code Geass mechs).
You may as that if I haven't see the most recent episodes how do I know that C.C. has a pink Lancelot and that shield. Answer, I checked the Code Geass official website for those details.
I almost had this image revered with Kallen upright and the sea at the top of the image. It just felt more dynamic to have Kallen upside down.
You have no idea how close I cam to adding a Luluko (Code Geass joke) to this image. I didn't want the picture crowded.

They are just wearing these leg devices that allow them to fly. I treat the gauntlet the same way. The animal ears are just something that happens when the girls in Strike Witches use their magic. They suddenly sprout animal ears and tails.

That's pretty much a running theme in the Strike Witches. They just always refer to their panties as pants.

You could do a series of these with all the pilots...although Kallen's amputation must've hurt.

Well, she is missing an arm. How else did she replace it with Guren's claw?

It's a gauntlet. She just wears it. If you saw the arm straight forward her real hand ends at about the wrist of the gauntlet.

I think if she even knew what the plan was and that it involved Lelouch giving up his life. She still would of opposed him.

I meant before Lelouch left the Black Knights with Rolo. If she had followed them and been there when Lelouch defeated Charles, she may have been his ally. Of course, that style of thinking also asks 'If Shirley had survived would the Black Knights have ever turned against Lelouch', 'If Lelouch had been able to rescue Nunally before Tokyo got nuked would he have been right-minded enough to reveal his identity before Schiezel turned them against him?' and of course 'If Lelouch hadn't killed Euphie would Suzaku have joined him earlier on?'

Even if she got to understand what happened to Lelouch. I don't think Kallen would of cooperated in a plan that involved him giving up his life. She would of pushed for something else. Kallen has never just let Lelouch do what he wanted and be self destructive. Look at when she caught him with Refrain. She yanked it out of his hand. When he tried to kiss her she slapped him.
I think Suzaku was always too obsessed with doing things his own way, and he saw Zero as being too much like his father.

Did he ever actually ADMIT is was Refrain? Besides, I only wondered if she would JOIN Lelouch and Suzaku. I never said that she'd agree to his Zero Requim.
Then how do you explain his actions in the end? He may have gotten revenge for Euphie, but it was still under Lelouch's orders. Plus, he becomes Zero in the end, so to everyone else he IS like his father.

That's really nice. I'm not too fond of tails and ears but that goes with personal taste, the meta-mecha girls instead are very very cute. Give you credits if i'll ever be in the mood of elaborate the concept my style
