X-Men: Screwin' Around[X-Men #200]
I think I finally got a handle on how Corel Painter works with layers. This one had a lot of layer work. It's why I had put this one off. I do really like how the background work came out.
Surprises of surprises. This one DOESN'T star Emma Frost. I know!
This is from issue #200 of "X-Men". This is the infamous issue where Mystique and Iceman consummated their relationship. I thought it was funny how no one else in the house seemed to hear anything, but I have a dirty mind.
If you haven't read X-Men in a while and you don't know who the first two girls are. The blond is Regan Wyngarde, Lady Mastermind. The daughter of the original Mastermind. The robotic girl is Karima Shapandar, Omega Sentinel.
This one was actually a double fake. I make you think it's going to be sexual, but in fact it's just Iceman and Mystique screwing around with everyone in the house making them think they did.
I kind of like this gag and Lady Mastermind. I may use something like this in the future that deals with events that happened just before this in the comics. The scene of Mystique and Iceman's kiss.

They weren't off duty at this scene. They were just coming off a big fight. That's not the Xavier mansion they are at.

I thought this came out pretty well. I was really proud of the background work.
I was just surprised that in the comics they two of them had sex, but no on in the house heard anything.

Your REALLY making me itch to read the X-men comics foxx and I really don't appreciate that. Mastermind and Karima are pretty cute. The computer does pretty much show what's going on in her body. It was just a little sight gag.
Corel is alright, but it really lacks in a lot of areas.

What does Corel make harder for you? How does it not suit your style?

It doesn't allow me to really play with the layers the way I need and when I try to transform or alter a layer it always seems to distort the image. Also, you can't alter the base, canvas, layer. I need something that can also make website graphics.

They are a bit hard to explain. It's very much an ART program and not a graphic design program.

I think even if you explained it I may not understand since I don't really work with art or graphic design programs. lol So I guess what your looking for is a graphic design program and not an art one since they two types offer some different functions or options?

You have some very intricate backgrounds in your works. Very sweet. How do you pull them off?
As for the pairings, man. Cyclops and Emma? Iceman and Mystique? Man, my money has been kinda short, so I haven't been able to keep up with the comics.
