think about it people - what do trolls want? attention. they're complete attention whores. so if you hate them so much, WHY DO YOU GIVE THEM THE SATISFACTION OF DEDICATING A JOURNAL ABOUT HOW "HORRIBLE" AND "STUPID" THEY ARE AND TELLING PEOPLE TO GO FLAME THEM?! seriously. if you want to get rid of a troll, do it the right way:- write an informational and MATURE journal WARNING others about the troll, not an immature "omg, there r is liek, so mean 2 meh! go leav mean cummnts!!1!" journal talking about how butt-hurt you are.
- REPORT the damn troll to DA! sure, leaving fun comments on the troll's page is fun, but it won't do anything (except be entertaining to others...so keep doing it lol).
~Tetrigon pointed out to me that i wrote to "report a troll." i totally forgot you can't, and that doing so repeatedly can actually get you in trouble with DA. so thank you, ~Tetrigon
but, if the person is truly harassing you, report them and DA will take care of it. and just some advice - if you're seriously harrassed by someone, going and bitching them out WILL NOT help your case. what do you think it looks like to DA when you're reporting someone you're acting just like? be sure to educate yourself on what harassment vs. trolling is, and here's the faq from DA: [link]
i dunno, there's more stuff i could write, but i really don't care to lol. just stop giving trolls what they want people and take care of your own problems with trolls. there's the "mark as spam/hide comment" button for a reason too
comments are turned off NOT because something happened or anything, but just because by faving it i know you agree, so that's all i need

This stamp looks more like "lol i troll u" stamp, though I can disagree about the whole "attention whore" shit. All they want is "entertainment" or what they call it, "lulz". They continue to do controversial crap and every whiny shit goes to there page and bitch at them because they're so whiny all the time. They're only targets are idiots, hypocrites, autistic kids, pedophiles, and some other retarded shit. Trolls are usually analyzers and/or observers, so don't underestimate them.

really? cuz i'm pretty sure that i am none of those, but thanks...
and for me and the way i see it, they leave those comments in order to get a response; aka someone acknowledging them; aka attention. sure, they do it for the entertainment too, but there wouldn't be any if idiots didn't give them the attention. and i don't underestimate them, i just don't think highly of them.

I don't think much about them either, but their identities and personalities and background are somewhat a mystery. They may had a bad life. They may had good education. Who knows? Only they know about themselves.

i've always wanted to psychologically evaluate a troll to see why they are the way they are. one of the things i've thought about that could make them do what they do is the adrenaline rush of being able to do bad things that are allowed online but not in real life and being able to get away with it. many people get a rush out of eliciting a strong reaction without consequence. it could almost be like a sense of power being able to be above normal rules and social acceptances. but like you said - only they know about themselves and i doubt i'll ever be able to ask them
