Description
This is a portrait of Iroh's son Lu Ten. I used the portrait we see of him in "Tales of Ba Sing Se" as a reference. I hope we'll learn more about Lu Ten in future episodes, because I am quite intrigued by him!For this picture, I used watercolor pencils for the first time. Well, I've used the pencils before, but not their watercolor function, because I kept forgetting to draw my lineart on heavy paper. Anyway, I quite enjoyed the experience, and I'll probably use them more in the future.
Lu Ten is from Avatar: the Last Airbender and of course does not belong to me!

Looks great! Watercolor pencils seem intriguing, I've got a couple lying around that I should give a more serious try at some point. Because, the results here suggest they've got a lot of potential, you've made some wonderful use of them.

Thanks, I'm glad you like how it turned out! I was a little nervous when I started to apply the water, because I didn't know how it would go, but it turned out to be fairly easy to control. I definitely want to practice with them some more, because they combine my two favorite media for coloring.
You should give them a try sometime--I'd be interested to see the result.
