It wasn't exactly 'I wanna draw Phantom in YJ style' as it was 'I wonder how Danny would look like talking to Robin and Kid Flash in the Cave'. I dunno, the picture got stuck in my head and I needed to draw a suit for him.

There are many plot ideas for DPxYJ crossovers, but I have two currently.

One is that all of Danny's family/friends are either dead or estranged, so he went away and found an abandoned mountain base to haunt, the strong emotional residues in it keeping him sustained and half-aware for years. And then when the Team moves in, he's kinda just there, observing them and wandering around, but faint enough that no one can pick him up, not even Megan. He's alright with the new inhabitants as they give him new emotions and he's kinda missed the company, but then "Homefront" happens and suddenly his lair is being invaded. He stays hidden, until Red Tornado goes evil and starts sucking all the oxygen out. He's kinda come to see the Team as his family/friends/precious things, so he makes himself known and Wails RT and the robots into malfunction. And that's how the superheroes find out their mountain base is being haunted by a teenage ghost. (He kinda reminds me of Secret in comic!verse in that aspect, being a ghostly Team member.)

The other one is that TUE or something happens, Danny's adopted by Vlad, and the two of them go to a Gotham socialite gala for some reason. Dick's there, and Wally shows up to bail him out and go eating pizza a city or two over, only Danny sneaks out with them and so they end up eating pizza at a local bistro and become friends. And I dunno how it goes from there *insert complicated plot twists and slow build up to the reveal of secret identities*

Anyway, those are just my plotbunnies hopping around. Oh, and the suit isn't Danny's own design. I imagine that Batman would make him a new suit when he becomes a member of the Team, and it would look like this
