I do hope I live to see a reboot one day instead of a sequel, but I am of the school of thought which says Butch should keep his mitts off Danny and someone like Netflix should pick up the production. Yeah I saw the 10 years later sketches and I'm uncomfortable and a bit angry with the fact that Butch insists ghosts are other-dimensional creatures and not actual ghosts, refuses to admit to that 'scary' and 'not parent approved' cartoon idea, and then goes around and makes future!Danny a suit that literally supports ghost hunger headcanons by converting captured ghosts into energy for Danny. If there's any new villains and a lack of old ones, we'll know what happened to them.
Anyway Butch is hypocritical and too 'pure' with his intentions to be able to release the full potential of this cartoon and I want him away from it. At least he lost the rights when he left Nickelodeon -_-
