I appreciate your comment! I worked quite hard on the colours and depth in this fractal. It's wonderful to hear that they look good. Thank you!

Hi Rosalinde! I'm finally able to view new works. I've made a lot of fractals myself but will try to view some of what I missed before I add my own to the group.

It's great to hear from you, Rose! You were away for a while, and then I was. I'm not finding enough time to make new things or to look at much. I hope I'll find my way back to this later on. I'm sure I will, as I love it here on dA!

OH no no, my art brain cushioned me. Just brushed on the dust. My pleasure, that was good.

Art brains are good for all kinds of things, aren't they? Mine seems a little resistant to doing housework, though. It behaved relatively well today, even agreeing to vacuum the living room!

I have the same problem. That yummy soft non-grey part of our brains have that common weakness. ...right now, I can hear my dished of 2 days crying, "wash-me wash-me! For pity sake!" ... I hardly hear them.

That's exactly what it's like! When I'm doing art, I see nothing else. Dirt and mess become invisible. I've been trying to do better at home lately, in part because my pets deserve it. It's why you haven't seen any new art from me. Nuts! I want to be Superwoman and do both!

, oh I know, that's why I don't have pets. I'm dangerous to their health.... nor plants... come to think of it, the spiders living in my apartment may be in danger. ....from neglect! That's why I visit people with pets. All the happy love and no neglect.

Maybe you can come visit me sometime. It may take me years, though, to get my place looking presentable! ARGGHH!I'm actually having some housing problems and may not even stay here. It would be fun to have you visit, though. In the meantime, we'll keep in touch.
My spiders are pretty happy! They're well-fed! My plants, on the other hand, need immediate first aid.

Sure, love too. I haven't talked to a fellow creative person in about four years. It would be very nice. I hope your in the same part of the country. I live in Ottawa Ontario, but on occasion have made it out west or east.Don't worry about any mess, its my natural environment, though I do make attempts to keep the dust down. Dust bunnies are cute... but their population need to be kept under control!

It will take me a while, but I'm looking forward to it. We could also go for a coffee sometime - if you don't have a person at home (wife, partner, girlfriend, etc.) who might be upset by our platonic meeting. I'll write you a Note.
Your dust bunnies may be cute, Fred, but mine are taking over!
Your new user name is really interesting. How did you think of it?

I actually put a fair bit of work into it. I wanted a name that would appear the first page of on a google search. Plums are dark (which is my work about half the time), and not as popular are apples, oranges and pineapples. The alternative fruit... and I love them.
...It was almost rhubarb.
Hmmm Volatile Rhubarb. TeeHee

Sounds very sensible. I like plums too. Rhubarb can be just a touch too zingy unless a lot of sugar is added. It probably wouldn't be a good idea to have people scrunching up their faces when they think of your art!
