At first, thanks for this awesome tutorial !
... but I think I found a little mistake:
You said that Xform11 must not project to itself, but I think itΒ΄s even more important that it does not project to Xform10 !
In the params above you did it correct.

"set the opacity of all previous flames to 0!" <--I think you meant transforms, not flames.
