Ah, this tut. is hard to follow, the screenshots barely show any of the screen and your wording is too general, which results in a distorted end product >< The edge thing we were talking about worked though..so thanks for that.

Agh, I can't pull out the new part of the wing (after connecting edges 1 and 2 - which I've done), it's this dammed view, I need white highlight lines, there's absolutely nothing, it's extreamly frustrating -_-;!

Hey, I have a question..The objects in all of your screenshots are highlited in a white line (as Cinema 4D for example), but I have no highlighted lines in my setup..and also, the lines do not turn red when you click - this is making it difficult for me to accurately model.. How do I turn on the white outlines??? Thanks a lot and I hope to hear from you soon.
God Bless,
Kyle

Yo, to get the edges to show you need to select the following option: take the perspective window for example, at the top left corner of the 'working window' you see the name 'Perspective' if you right click on that name it will give you some options regarding the current working space, so the option you need to select it called Edged Faces, once you selected that option, you should be able to see all the edges of the model. Same thing happens for the other windows like top, left and front views. Hopefully that solves the problem, if you run into more problems, please ask, i would be happy to help

Very nice for beginners
Have you thought about using the slice tool instead of connect? seems it would cut out a lot of work for you (not having to manually create a lot of verts)
Can't wait to see it finished (and hopefully some of your wouldbe students works too ^_^)

heh, no, never used the slice tool, i tought myself 3d max, and have never bothered to use the slice tool.
Yeah, i have kind of put the creation of the tutorials on hold, but i think i will have to finish what i started
theres a few more things i have to explain and the design of the fighter i am following i think is pretty cool
