wow, this one is very cool! would also look neat if it were a more metallic, reflective surface, but the same colors... not sure if that's possible... but I'd love to see that

I was tempted to do it mono!

mono might work, but then I think it would really benefit from some shininess...

Gave it a try but couldn't do a metallic texture to it!
Beyond my capabilities! lol

hmmm, well, if not metallic, can you make it look shiny at all? if not, that's cool too

Can't seem to do much with those! The ducky formulas
seem very difficult to color or texture! I'm sure some
of the UF wizards could do it! I just need more experience.
I've been using it for 8 months but still not very good
with it yet.

now you shut up with that stuff, you are fantastic at UF... if you can't make it shiny, then I will have to assume it can't be done!

OH I'm sure it can be done! There's an awful lot to UF
and I'm just scratching the surface with what I'm doing.
In the months and years to come I hope to get much better!
Thanks so very much for your kindness and support! I really
appreciate it!

always welcome Rick... perhaps there is much that you have not learned, but you have a very nice style, and from all the UF work I have seen, I would say yours is some of the best, at least according to my tastes... of course, others might disagree...

and Pseudo Lyapunov.

ah yeah but the power in the formula tab is set to 4 no? ! hence the quad pattern!

Fractalholic In reply to timemit [2012-07-03 20:57:43 +0000 UTC]
OH that was from adding the tile mapping or kaleidoscope mapping (can't remember which) lol

timemit In reply to Fractalholic [2012-07-03 21:18:59 +0000 UTC]
aha ..well you can find the same sort of thing by using the power function in the formula tab.. but it probably takes a whole lot longer

Fractalholic In reply to timemit [2012-07-03 21:22:23 +0000 UTC]
Yes the formula had first and second power but I rarely
play with those! I like adding some of the mapping and see
what happens.
