Description Download for 1280x960 resolution

Magnification in a 2D-slice of the four dimensional cubic parameter space using the standard parameterizing z -> z^3 - 3a^2 z + b, critical points z = +a (making the set M+) and z = -a (making the set M-).

*a_real = 0.005
*a_imag = #pixel (horizontal before being rotated 45 degrees clockwise)
*b_real = #pixel (vertical before being rotated 45 degrees clockwise)
*b_imag = 0.005

Note: This motive is a one layer image drawn due to CCL + SetBorders visualizing both sets in one layer. More about drawing images of cubic parameter space with respect to CCL (Cubic Connectedness Locus) and the use of SetBorders, see the article [link] in my Chaotic series [link] .

No filters or postprocessing except anti-aliasing (from 6400 x 4800).

Software: Ultra Fractal.
Color routine: Continuos Potential Method (CPM).
Formula: Cubic Parameterspace3 in the sp3-module written by my dear friend Stig Pettersson, Greenseng here at DeviantART. All his modules, as well as mine can be downloaded from [link]

More info about Cubics can be found at my Cubic Tutorial [link] and the "cubic" articles in my Chaotic series [link]

Below the parameter file. Play and have fun

Have a feeling of some rotating wheels here.
Makes me dizzy.

cool... xD (It haven't called my attention enought to see numbers and setup stuff, sorry, I'm a simple girl) how can you mix all that colors?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FractalMonster In reply to Tsukimogori [2011-11-18 00:00:55 +0000 UTC]

thank you I simple use the color editor in my software (Ultra Fractal) just using the mouse I hardly set up any numbers at all in order to get the colors

anyway, it sounds a bit difficult and at least I prefer the manual drawing and manual-taked photos xD sorry u.u
but if you want to see a few obcene prints i drawed getting asleep in compu-clases xD the're yours
