Description Download for 1280x960 resolution

Like the precious deviations in my Goth Series , this is a deep in-zoom the earlier deviation The Dark Secret of the Cave , however in a muvh higher position of that image . That is it’s a magnification in a 2D-slice of the four dimensional cubic parameter space using the standard parameterizing z -> z^3 - 3a^2 z + b, critical points z = +a (making the set M+) and z = -a (making the set M-).

*a_real = #pixel (vertical)
*a_imag = 0.01
*b_real = 0
*b_imag = #pixel (horizontal)

This section is entirely inside the set M+, so it’s only drawn with respect to M-. That means that all the entirely black components belong to Cubic Connectedness Locus (CCL), the full analogy to the Mandelbrot set for Cubic polynomials.

Software: Ultra Fractal.
Color routine: Continuos Potential Method (CPM).
Formula: Cubic Parameterspace3 in the sp3-module written by my dear friend Greenseng here at DeviantART. All his modules, as well as mine can be downloaded here .

Below the parameter file, play and have fun

Not so many colors, but the best coloring is often to use nuances of the same color

I like the balance in pink and black in this one. You are a genius with both fractals and color

Fractals are always interesting when they are naked

No probs I ought to comment it too, but instead I'm writing a so far secret journal

Looking forward to read that journal.
