Download for 1280x960 resolutionThe entire Tricorn set with the period-1-component marked with darkblue color (would otherwise be black). If the Mandelbrot formula is z^2 + c, the Tricorn formula is conj(z)^2 + c. “conj(z)” means the complex conjugate of “z”. This means that if z = x + iy, conj(z) = x - iy. This formulas have a natural very elegant distortion. I'm using some of the old variations in my fractals. Thanks Ingvar for sharing it!!!
