Description You never forget your first Doctor. And, if you ask me, that lovable big-nosed, crooked-eared Ninth Doctor deserves a bit more credit! If it wasn't for him, you wouldn't have your precious Number 10 that you all love so much! Although he was awesome, too. All the Doctors are awesome.

Also, yes, I just reused the background from my Doctor Whooves picture. I'm lazy like that.

The one-season bit was actually Christopher Eccleston's request. He was excited to play the Doctor, but he didn't want to be type-cast into the role like everyone else who had played him.

I've recently finished watching all of the 9th doctor episodes and even though I'm looking forward to the future doctors I'll always have a special place for 'Old Floppy Ears'. I loved how whenever he got corned by a bunch of bad guys he would always put on big smile, you could tell that sometimes he enjoyed being in mortal danger.

No matter what incarnation, the Doctor has always loved being in danger. He just can't resist the thrill of adventure! Mind you, I know most people say the 10th incarnation is the best, but between you and me, the 1st, 9th, and 11th are my favorites.

What an awesome rendition of the ninth Doctor! You captured him so well (I recognized him immediately just from the thumbnail) and I love the way you draw him in your wacky style. Fantastic!

He was my first <3

But, I have to say, Tom Baker will always be my favorite doctor.
...and David Tennant. He makes me feel all skishy inside :}
But I do love the new doctor.

From the little I have seen of the ninth Doctor, I've enjoyed his character. Though, my personal favorite is the Eleventh.

Fantastic! You really captured Eccleston's Doctor in cartoon form.

I'm glad you like it! I'm generally not the best at doing caricatures of people, but I'm trying to get better at it.

Well, keep at it, because this one at least is brilliant.

You know you're a Whovian when just seeing a little avatar of a Dalek and the phrase "EXTERMINATE!" makes you nearly soil your pants.

The Daleks actually scare me more.

Like I mentioned before 11th was my first. The droopy haired guy in a bow-tie who runs about acting like a kid in a candy-shop. I like 10 too, but 11th will always be my favorite.

It's hard for me to choose a favorite, especially since I've only really seen four versions, but at this point I personally think I'd go with the First Doctor and the Eleventh. They're almost polar opposites with the First being a grumpy old man with a soft heart and the Eleventh being a hyperactive geek, but that's all part of the fun of the series!

10th mentioned in his crossover with 5th that he didn't even start enjoying it until he was 5, and he hated acting grumpy as number 1

FractiousLemon In reply to D-warrior35 [2011-09-22 22:48:55 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I saw that. It was very funny. It's not so much that he didn't enjoy it, it's just that he was saying that his fifth life was the one where he felt he really hit his stride.

Or, in a more literal sense, it was just David Tennant telling Peter Davison that he was his hero as a little boy. *laughs*

Yeah, watching that, it's hard to tell if it's 10 fangasming over 5, or David fangasming over Peter

A little of both. *laughs*
