grain elevators are much different than your "normal" factory and other industrial places. they're pretty great

I don't know where you are, but grain elevators were invented here in Buffalo. They spread throughout the US and I'm sure there are some where you are if an area produced any kind of grain. We have the biggest concentration of them in one spot in the world I guess though, so they're easy to find hahah

Great shot. I'm actually doing a series of paintings based on Old Grain Elevators. I've heard Buffalo has the big ones. I'll have to check out your site.

Yes buffalo has what I hear to be the largest collection of grain elevators in the country. A few are still operational, a few are abandoned. They are great monsters of industry though, very cool.

yes many times. it's one of my favourite places to visit in buffalo. it's nice at sunset especially.
