Description
This is a drawing I did a couple years ago that I finally got around to painting! It wasn't as intimidating as I thought it would be... which I guess means I need to work harder! It was a very good learning experience though, and I hope to be able to use it as a stepping stone for more improvement in the future. Critiques are most welcome!And yes, I guess I do enjoy drawing little girls being in scary situations.
Who knows when the villagers will be back....?

Very nice, love the colors and the atmosphere. Those "dolls" on the spears look nice and creepy. And I get the idea that this village is recently abandonned....or is it not as empty as she thinks?

I adore this so very much! The little details, the crisp lines mixed with painted colours, the depth and perspective. This looks like a still out of a video game or comic book. I seriously thought you'd been hired to do environments for Wakfu or something, and this was an example. I'd love to see more along these lines!

Oh gosh, thank you!! I'll try to make more of these--I really, really need to do more environments anyway. Funny you should say that though--the original concept was inspired by the old Lucasarts Monkey Island games. Great, quirky art that I want to emulate for sure.
