This is a guy in a story one of my friends is writing. He's a main-ish character. He's one of those constantly angry fellahs with a good heart. We've seen them before, but we love them anyway.

Originally, I was just going to draw him in a cool pose with a sword or something. I mean, it can't be a cool pose without a sword, right? [/sarcasm] But then I thought I'd draw him just sitting and looking irritated. I like the way his face came out; he's got one of those "Where the crap am I and what the crap was I doing?" looks. Anyway, as I was sketching, a roommate came up and was all, "You should draw him without his shirt on!" (because when I sketch, I always draw the basic figure before drawing the clothing.) Now, this was really strange, because she's a nice, quiet, gentle sort of girl--not at all the type you'd expect something like that from. It's always the quiet ones. (I hear that a lot, actually... )

Anyway. This was just a simple sketch for my friend. Totally screwed up on some of the proportions, and the background is 30-second pencil vomit. Blugh~ I need to take an anatomy class.
