Description
Canon PowerShot SD1000Oh man spring is here! And so are all those dandelion shots you've been seeing on dA lately
I used the "left hand brace" technique, in which you hold the subject in your left hand, holding the camera with your right hand and bracing it on your left wrist. This essentially "bonds" the subject and the camera to the same plane, which reduces blur caused by camera shake. I used digital macro mode, white balance set to cloud, and dropped the exposure by about 1/3 step to prevent loss of detail on the bright dandelion head.
Please tell me what you think!

For this? It was just taken on a PowerShot SD1000, not an SLR. In other words, it was the tiny 6mm lens that's stuck to the camera

Too bad it's winter? That's a great season for macro! Try the reverse macro technique on snowflakes, it will blow your mind.
Thank you!

Just in my own little world making stories for your photos.Hope you get a kick out of it.
Who will be
the last one
standing
which will
be there
in the end
only time
will tell
that story
one is leaning
will it fall
Which in the end
will be
standing tall

Yes really And I like how you share the techniques you use as well! By watching your pictures and reading your comments I learn new tricks that I never thought of ^^ (I'm pretty new) The left-hand-brace and the reverse lens is new to me, just a shame I don't have an SLR camera (that's what they are called in English right), and that trick won't be used in some time, but still: Keep sharing your techniques! They add a lot to the community I believe.
