Description
Canon PowerShot SD1000Oh man spring is here! And so are all those dandelion shots you've been seeing on dA lately
I used the "left hand brace" technique, in which you hold the subject in your left hand, holding the camera with your right hand and bracing it on your left wrist. This essentially "bonds" the subject and the camera to the same plane, which reduces blur caused by camera shake. I used digital macro mode, white balance set to cloud, and dropped the exposure by about 1/3 step to prevent loss of detail on the bright dandelion head.
Please tell me what you think!

Though I like the look of a single seed clinging still.. the over saturated look is a little harsh for me and I would probably darken the background a little so the feathery hairs of the seed could captivate the attention better.
The the framing is perfect and the title is also lovely.

Thanks. I see what you mean by the colors maybe being too saturated. Looks decent on my screen though. Could be a little too bright
Thank you

Yeah, that is the problem with digital... things look different on different screens. But oh well. It probably looks great printed though since things get darker when printed sometimes.
